Both authorized Users & "Guests"
can provide performance data directly into the system. They
can be requested to provide this data by automatic e-mail
scoring requests.
When an e-mail scoring request is received the recipient can
access the scorecard directly by clicking on the unique link
within the e-mail message which takes them automatically to
the scorecard. Users can be automatically reminded by e-mail
to complete scorecards.
A data entry wizard controls data capture. Users can choose
whether to enter data via a Quick-score page, which lists
all the measures on a single page;

or via a step-by-step approach, which presents a single measure
on each screen.

Either method displays the measures in a scorecard and prompts
users for the information required, scores or raw performance
data, to calculate their scores using pre-defined formulae.
The system also allows the user to enter comments against
individual measures as they are scored or at a later date.
Users can enter comments against different comments tabs,
e.g. for Safety, Follow-up Action, Knowledge Management etc.
Mandatory comments must be provided where specified in the
system, and users can't proceed until a comment has been added.
All performance data & comments are automatically saved each
time the user moves to the next measure, so if an internet
connection is lost, data entered to date will be saved.

When entering scores, the user has options to print & view
the scorecard they are completing so they can collate data
required prior to entry, they can view guidance notes for
each measure to ensure that the data provided is consistent
with central requirements, they can chose to skip measures
which are not applicable, or re-instate previously skipped
measures.
On completion, the user is presented with a scorecard status
screen, which identifies if the scorecard is complete/incomplete.
It gives summary information about the scorecard, i.e. how
many measures are above/below target, have been skipped/missed
etc. If the scorecard status is incomplete, then reasons why
it is incomplete are highlighted.
Users can graph the data they have just entered for instant
feedback.

The user can chose to re-assign measures to another person
for them to enter data. A user can assign multiple measures
to multiple people.
