Performance data is captured using
Scorecards, which are generated from Templates. Each Scorecard
is attributed to a company, it can also be linked to a contact
(at the company) and a sales opportunity if required.
Users can create their own performance measures and build
their own Templates (without need for software changes). Standard
Templates are available for all Constructing Excellence Headline
& Sector KPIs. The system supports different types of performance
measure including; multiple choice questions and answers,
formula derived scores and, percentage and number scores.
Data capture is controlled by a data entry wizard which steps
the user through the measures in a Scorecard and prompts them
for scores or the raw performance data required to calculate
their scores using pre-defined formulae. The system also allows
the user to enter comments against individual measures as
they are scored.d.
To facilitate data capture the system will allow users to
create scorecards for others to complete, it will automatically
generate emails to prompt Scorecard completion and it can
be made to issue email reminders if scores are not submitted.
It is also possible to invite individuals without authorised
access to the system to complete scorecards as guest members
(e.g. Clients, Suppliers, Staff or the general public).
