eContrack Supply Chain uses
"Activity" as a means of recording what has been done, or
what needs to be done. Activity records can be added against
companies, contacts projects or packages. Each activity record
is allocated to a person (a member of staff), is due for action
at a specific date/time and has a user defined type (e.g.
meeting, phone call, complaint).

Activity Templates can be used to automatically generate strings
of pre-defined activity records for regularly repeated tasks
involving several discrete activities and the system supports
the automatic generation of recurring activity records as
required.

Staff members call up their outstanding or future activity,
"Action List", on the screen or as a printed report. An activity
remains on an action list until it is flagged as actioned.
